This artwork depicts the rivers within and surrounding Wiradjuri Country. The Murrambdiya, the Galari and the Wambuul all on Country, and the Yindi which forms its Southern border.
It represents the fast-flowing waters, the layers of warmer water on the surface as it mixes with the colder depths.
The muddiness that is so iconic of the mighty bodies as they snake through the landscape.
It is symbolic of the connection I have with the river and the way it grounds me and calls me home.
