The stars were and still are an important part of Aboriginal culture. We were the first astrologists- using the stars to help guide journeys, navigating with them whilst moving across Country.

Stars connect us to the Dreaming, holding sacred knowledge of Dreaming stories within their constellations.

They are also a symbol of our old people- watching from above and guiding.

Represented within this artwork is the star, and that in which they encompass to Aboriginal peoples.
